3 Best Nursing Homes in Canberra ACT

My mother transitioned into full time care 4 months. To see my mother so content, safe and engaged is a wonderful feeling that she is being so well cared for. I would like to thank all the staff that directly and indirectly make this facility secure, welcoming and a place where my mother feels so content. To see the friendships she has made so quickly with other residents reflects on the wonderful environment that is created by the amazing staff. Recently my mother’s heath condition has given everyone many challenges and the medical team has been responsive, detailed, professional, and overall very outstanding. Thank you to everyone that makes this aged care facility what it truely is.

My family cannot fault the care and respect that the carers, nurses, doctor and administrative staff show to our mother. Our mother, Joan has been a resident at Chifley Lodge for nearly 2 years and the friendly compassionate manner in which the carers show daily is truely appreciated . The staff are dedicated and always keep us informed as to mums needs and medical issues. Thank you so much to the CAC team we know that our mother is happy, safe and well cared for with her physical and mental needs being catered for. Thank you from The Mackay family.

Dads in high care,looked at all the others but this place is just so calm and homelike. Dads perfectly happy having to share a twin room and he has made lots of friends.

This is a facility that cares about everyone. From the residents, to their families, to their staff and contractors. This is a facility that takes pride in not only their business but all aspects of their business. From their suppliers to the delivery drivers, to the staff especially who make life easier for all the residents in the building. The business is run by a family, and that makes a world of difference. They understand family values at the end of the day. The management team is kind, understanding, caring, compassionate and patiently helpful. Canberra Aged Care takes care of ALL who come in their doors and ALL are treated with respect. Absolutely the best place, everything you could possibly ask for. The CEO Clayton is just so knowledgeable and decent. Beautiful building, lovely gardens and BBQ areas. Very happy with the staff, meals, activities etc. No wonder it's continually voted the best home in the Canberra district. Thanks. - A. Reply

I couldn't be happier with the care they are giving my mother. The home-makers are taking the time to make sure she is included and bringing her out of her shell, she is enjoying old age finally.

The service manager in Mirinjani (high care) is helpful. She treats equally to every staff.

Very nice place and people get treated really well.

My Mum has been resident for 2 years and she is very happy there. The staff are caring and the rooms and facilities are well maintained. The food is pretty good and some rooms, including my Mum's, overlook a park.
