STUDIOQ APARTMENTS REVIEWS

Bright designer colours and the artistic use of metal finishes distinguish StudioQ as ultra-modern, self-contained guest accommodation, well worthy of its 4.5 self rating. Features include a queen bed, an ensuite bathroom with a washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, and reverse-cycle air-conditioning throughout. French doors open to a private sundeck, a TV and CD player keep you entertained and wi-fi internet access keep you in touch. StudioQ is located in Boronia Dr, O'Connor, 3kms from city centre and "close to everything that matters", according to owner Narelle Wickham.

After years of impersonal corridors and doorways in the hotels and apartments of Canberra, StudioQ, and her little sister Q-Tee, in the northern suburb of O'Connor, have been a very refreshing change for my regular work in the Capital. With tasteful (and slightly quirky) decor both apartments are, very much, a place to feel at home. Shops and restaurants are close at hand while the city is sufficiently distant to feel like you are away from it. Rather than paying parking fees in Civic the bus is just around the corner but I prefer to take my bicycle with me to Canberra so that I can enjoy the fifteen minute cycle ride into town. In Summer there's ample time for an after-work lap around Lake Burley Griffin. The owner of the apartments, Narelle, is welcoming and has always been most helpful with my myriad of questions. I'll certainly be back.

Studio Q is fantastic, the owner is attentive and every request was met without question.The previous review seems very strange compared to our experience, perhaps they got mixed up with another place. Studio Q is highly recommended, it is super clean, modern and the owner Narelle is pleasant- try it for yourself.
